		<description>I agree. I have gone through my own the &quot;first year&quot; four times and have had many more with those I have hired. 

I would also add that, unless this perspective is shared by the one(s) to whom you are accountable in your position, evaluations of your first year will be frustrating for everyone involved. 

On the other hand, when I see that this opinion is shared, I also see staff members stay longer and develop a deeper sense of &quot;team&quot; with each other, as well as with those to whom they report.</description>
